We visted last week to say hi to Roberto, the owner ,as we had met him years ago in the Imperial hotel and we had a few drinks. I am not a big fan of chipper food generally and would only eat it 2 or 3 times a year as it can be disappointing ,but I must say everything here was really very good. The batterd cod was cooked perfectly. Flakey fresh and juicy inside with a crispy outer golden batter and tasty home made chips that were all obviously cooked in lovely clean oil or fat .We had onions rings also that were equally good. The kids had milk shakes and they were great. Staff were nice and pleasant even though we arrived just after the sit down part was closed but thankfully Roberto kindly let us sit there for our meal. When in Youghal or passing through you must go to The Roma grill and sample the lovely fresh Italian style chipper food in this well run traditional chip shop and restaurant. Thumbs up and thank you Roberto and staff see you again soon. Darragh and family

The best chips I have ever tasted, like fluffs of potato, excellent service, beautiful burger.

Good old fashioned chipper, you know what you're getting (shame the smoked cod order wasn't in) and plenty of it Helpful and friendly staff quick to help Highly recommended

Almost €23 for fish (cod) chips peas Pepsi max and a bottle of water. Can't blame the takeaway it's the cost of living today that's the problem. The service here was super quick and the cod was cooked very well nice and flakey falling apart nicely. Batter could be a little bit less crispy at the ends. I suppose it just depends on how it's dipped. The food was delicious no oil or grease and the chips were big chunky soft and filling cooked brilliantly. Nice portion of large fresh peas in a bowl as a side. Prices are high but you can't rate the food, service and quality on the cost of living here in Ireland that we are all suffering with. Very busy nice table service and also the takeaway option has lots of selections. Great food portions and a very tasty meal.

The best chipper I've had in a very long time, Pizzas cooked to perfection, southern fried chicken was so tender and the chips are proper chipper chips. Hard to find a decent authentic Italian chipper but this was incredible. Worth the spin from Waterford Can't wait to return.
